According to the statistics of the Taiwan Blood Foundation, during the period when the epidemic alert standard was raised to Level 3, the number of blood donations in Taiwan dropped sharply, but patients still needed blood for medical use, resulting in insufficient blood stock, and the blood bank was alerted. The previous epidemic was severe, and the whole people cooperated with government policies and the command center's epidemic prevention measures to reduce movement and going out, which jointly affected the willingness to donate blood. Therefore, the Taiwan Blood Foundation urged the public to maintain the good habit of regular blood donation under the premise of preventing epidemics.

Keelung Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, in order to alleviate the blood famine and protect the medical rights of patients, today (8/27) specially invited the Taipei Blood Donation Center, Yushan Bank Keelung Branch and Xiushen Engineering Co., Ltd. to jointly organize the 110-year "Sleeve-in-Sleeve Donation to Pass Love" The community charity blood donation activity encourages people to "donate a bag of blood and save lives" and work together to contribute to this society.

Li Lingmei, Secretary of Keelung Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, expressed her thanks to Feng Tianjian, senior manager of Yushan Bank, for leading the Keelung branch colleagues for participating, as well as the Taipei Blood Donation Center and Xiushen Engineering Co., Ltd. for co-organizing this meaningful charity event. She also thanked the people for their enthusiastic response. Today, in addition to the hope that it can help the blood bank account, it also hopes to increase the publicĄŠs understanding of organ donation. Organ donation advocacy is arranged on the spot, and special personnel can provide consulting services. People are welcome to make more use of it.

The Keelung Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare reminds the public that although the epidemic is slowing down, epidemic prevention measures must not be relaxed. When you roll your sleeves to donate blood, give love and go out, you must also wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and maintain social distancing, so as to protect Taiwan every day. Add zero!
